Yes I’m still alive (thankfully college hasn’t killed me yet). but you may be wondering where on earth I have been for the past month. I have to apologise for not posting regularly. College has been so hectic that I haven’t been making time for blogging. Anyway today I decided to catch up on some tags I was tagged in. Questions:
1.What is your favourite historical setting for a book?
I like books set in the Victorian era or even the Tudor period.
2. What writer/s would you like to travel back in time to meet?
Probably Roald Dahl because his books were basically my childhood. Full of so much adventure.
3. What book/s would you travel back in time and give to your younger self?
(AKA The Shame Question) In a nutshell I wish I had started reading regularly as a child so there are lots of books I could name but the most popular I would say is Harry Potter and Narnia. I have read the 1st 2 books of Harry Potter now, but I feel I would have loved them so much more if I read them as a child. I still gave them 5 starts though
4. What book/s would you travel forward in time and give to your older self? (as aa memory)
For this I will go with the series that holds a special place in my heart… The Hunger Games. This is the book that really sparked my love for reading. Also Zelah green, Queen of Clean. This was one of the 1st novels I read willingly (aka not for school) and I really enjoyed it as it explores mental health and OCD.
5. What is your favorite futuristic setting from a book? E.g. Panem from The Hunger Games
The Tower from The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee. I love this place it seems so cool to live in and very technically advanced.
6. What is your favorite book that is set in a different time period (can be historical or futuristic)?
The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury. This is set in like the Tudors/Richard IIII times I think I may be wrong but that is what it feels like.
7. Do you ever skip ahead to the end of a book just to see what happens?
I used to do this a lot. I did it with The Hunger Games but I really hate spoilers as I think it lessens the experience and the suspense.
8. If you had a Time Turner, where would you go and what would you do?
Pursue a life in the unexpected…
9. Favorite book (if you have one) that includes time travel or takes place in multiple time periods?
I can’t think of one that includes time travel or multiple time periods but my fav book set in a different time period would have to be Illuminae by Amie Kaufmann and Jay Kristoff.
10. What book/series do you wish you could go back and read again for the first time?
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I would love to experience it without knowing spoilers.

This seems like a cool tag to do! I have just gotten a hold of Illuminae and I’ve heard so many good things about that book, I’m excited to read it. I hate spoiling myself too, it ruins the book for me.
